Grafton Regis History Fayre

Grafton Regis History Fayre is to be held in the village on July 31 and August 1.

Each day will feature a Dark Ages battle and a Medieval battle involving the British Plate Armour Society and other invited organisations.  We will also have traders' stalls, living history tents, have-a-go archery, talks on Admiral FitzRoy and on the Grafton Portrait of Shakespeare, a series of cameos on significant events in Grafton's history featuring Elizabeth Woodville, Henry VIII and others, and a children's historical fancy dress competition.

CARRIBBEAN BEACH PARTY AT THE HORSESHOE, LAVENDON



30th August 2010, 12 till 6pm

Your hosts Shareen and Sue from the Horseshoe, Lavendon, invite you to a Caribbean beach party to include BBQ, cocktails, games and prizes for the best dressed Rastafarian and Hula girls. The party will also have live reggae music!

All proceeds from the games are going to Lavendon School.
